EXCEL Function equivalent to Current Region

    Dear friends,

I have a sheet with data. I would like to calculate nonzero minimum value of a column. For example, I am using the function

to calculate the minimum COST (in column D:D) of an item TOOLS (in column B:B).

The problem is that when I consider the whole column as data, any operation on the sheet recalculates and the whole procedure is slowed down. At present, I have 340 rows of data. But this will be varying. Is there a method to use a formula, not as an array formula to achieve this?

Is there any equivalent of CurrentRegion function, which I can use in EXCEL function? How can I modify the function to incorporate all the data?

I had read about function MINIFS, but using that function gives error in my excel version (Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013).

    Regards,
    Pravin Kumar.

Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. Just before posting, scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

    Try Aggregate

MINIFS works only in office 2019 and office 365

Have you tried using a dynamic range name that automatically adjusts to the size of your data, then using the range name in the formula.
