Looking for an IF formula with mulitple conditions

The assumption is we have 6,000 patients in a 8 year model.

The first Tier is 1,000 patients enrolled will receive a 10% royalty. The second Tier is the remaining cumulative patients will only receive a 2% royalty for the remaining 7 years.

However, In year 3 we pay 10% royalty for number of new patients brought on for 4 years.

You really have not given enough information.

    1. The assumption is we have 6,000 patients in a 8 year model. Why is this relevant. There is no mention of 6000 or 8 anywhere else.

    2. The first Tier is 1,000 patients enrolled will receive a 10% royalty. So Assuming A1 = Patient Number =If(A1>1000,2,10)

    3. The second Tier is the remaining cumulative patients will only receive a 2% royalty for the remaining 7 years. How is 7 years relevant.

    4. In year 3 we pay 10% royalty for number of new patients brought on for 4 years. Is this Tier 1, Tier 2 or something else?

Re: Looking for an IF formula with mulitple conditions

I need to create a royalty % using the IF formula with multiple conditions.

The 6,000 patients is a random number, so is 8 years.

I am trying to come up with a 2 formulas broken out in two Tiers.

The first tier is a royalty percentage the moment patients get enrolled in the model.
The second tier is royalty percentage for cumulative onboarding of patients.
