Help with Scenario Manager and Summary Sheet

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here or how to make this work but basically, the summary sheet has the correct formulas but the first row in Row 6 is obviously taking the payments from above which wont work. I was told I'd have to "seed" with a 1. I'm not too sure what that means but if i can make top row work then the summary sheet will work too.

The sheet is called Electric Cargo Bikes Investment.

    Please help!

What it means "I'd have to "seed" with a 1"
What do you expect G6 to be?

Basically I'm trying to find the repayments from the options in the yellow highlighted cells. If I figure out how to make G6 work, the rest of the table will be populated. I will be using Scenario Manager but was told that the first row needs to be fixed as it's reading the row above, which wont work

Re: Help with Scenario Manager and Summary Sheet

The attached file looks like a group of class assignments, so I am only going to give hints.
    1. Although it may seem unrelated the formula in cell B19 needs some work. If you use the Evaluate Formula feature, I believe that you'll see why the PV is incorrect.
    2. Think about what value would be placed in cell G6 If someone were working on the sheet and read the column heading in cell G5.

Cell B19 is just something I was playing around in.

I still don't understand how to make the table work or how to manipulate it so that the first row (B6) gives the needed result so that the rest of the table can get filled.

    Anymore help would be appreciated.

Re: Help with Scenario Manager and Summary Sheet

I realize that you were just "playing around" with the PMT function, however I believe that you are on the right track in doing so.
I feel that you know that the PV argument should combine the Cost of Electric Cargo Bikes and Training Costs.
However when you run the Evaluate Formula feature, it shows the those values are not being combined.
So the first task would seem to be modifying the PV argument to make those values combine.
Once done you are pretty close to having the table working.
Let us know if you have any questions.
