    Question I'm not really sure what you'd call it...

    Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to view my post. I have an issue in excel which I hope you all would be able to help me with. Thank you in advance, kind peeps.

    The condition is:
    1. In the same cell, automatically replace any number, e.g.
    (267) 339-9379 --> No name 267-339-9379
    (267) 350-9380 --> No name 267-350-9380

    I wonder if this is possible, thank you all once again!

    A cell can only contain a value or a formula, not both. So you can't replace something in the SAME cell, unless you use VBA. Is that what you're looking to use? Also, read the yellow banner at the top of the page to attach a good sample file.

    Hello, deeply sorry for my late replies. I'm sorry I wasn't able to look at it clearly when I wrote this post, I was thoroughly busy during that time. I'll make sure to comply to the forum's rules next time I post. Thank you. if you all don't mind, I'll be doing a follow up on this post within the next few hrs. I'll just attach the excel file.
