Master Sheet to tabs based on number typed on tab?

Thank you for your time. I am working on a spreadsheet to do manual time tracking for a cross country meet for kids. I would like to input all my participants data into the master. Then the day of the race I will use each tab as the group run to enter the data.
For the KG tab, runner 101 crosses with a time of 5:23. I want to enter time 5:23 then number 101, then have the spreadsheet auto-populate the with information off the master - first name, last name. We will use the sheet for years to come due to the cost of using automated timing devices for kids races. I appreciate you help!

I have attached my sample sheet.

Re: Master Sheet to tabs based on number typed on tab?

First, I changed your Master Data into a Table (Insert Tab> Insert Table)
Checking on the "Table Design" tab, I see this table is labeled "Table1"
This allows you to add new kids to your master tab and the table will automatically expand to include them. You can then refer to Table1 in your formulas instead of typing out a specific range.

Then I selected all of your other tabs (click on "KB", then holding the SHIFT key down, click on the last tab "6thGr"
This groups the tabs so that what you type in one of these tabs will be typed into all of these tabs. (makes things a lot easier).
    Then in D2 of KB
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    In C2, a similar formula
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Copy the two columns down as far as you like (I did down to row 30)
Again, because the tabs are grouped, these formulas will automatically be transferred to the other sheets.
Right click on a tab and "Ungroup"
    Done
