Conditional Format based on column values

    Hi,

I'd like to conditionally format a range of cells depending upon whether a value in one column of a table match the value in another column of another table. At the same time there has to be an 'x' in the same row of that column.

    So in the attached sheet:

D2 and E2 as well as D3 and E3 are coloured orange because C2 and C3 are found in the table opposite whilst at the same time S2 and T2 containing the 'x'.

I've tried using a helped column but Im not sure if that's really necessary.

    Any help appreciated.

    Regards

Use =Q2="X" as the CF formula and apply to $C$2:$G$4

Select C2:G4 & use this formula
    =INDEX($Q$2:$U$4,MATCH($A2,$O$2:$O$4,0),MATCH(C$1,$Q$1:$U$1,0))="x"
