Formula to extract values from one sheet into another

Hi,

I have two sheets.One is master and other is database spreadsheet

Database spreadsheet has following columns
ID Name DOB. email Week. Product
———————————————————-
1. XYZ. 10091984. NA. WEEK1. Cups
1. XYZ. 10091984. NA. WEEK1. Spoons
4. SSS. 20081977. NA. WEEK1 Cups
1. XYZ. 10091984. NA. WEEK2. Cups

Main spreadsheet has following columns;
ID. NAME. GENDER. DOB. AGE. WEEK1-product1. WEEK1-Product2
——————————————————————————————-
1. XYZ. FEMALE. 10091984. 24. [[need to populate these week1-product1 abd week1-product2 values here]

So I need to extracf week 1 product 1 , week1 product 2 value from databas and put in main spreadsheet .i have data for 10 weeks

Have you considered using a Pivot Table. Your Database easily lends itself to this - apart from the Gender of course which isn't present in the database
