Change Font Type based on Cell Value not Cell Formula

    Hi,

My first post here in this forum. I have reviewed the following thread which solves part of my problem: excelforum.com/excel-formulas-and-functions/1033168-change-font-type-based-on-cell-value.html

(sorry - I would have put a direct link but I can't until I have posted a few times)

The script doesn't work if the cell contains a formula. Can this script be modified to evaluate the cell value and not the cell formula?

    Firstly welcome,

Secondly you will be asked to put # around the text of the vba code as per the rules, to make it easier to read.

Do you really need vba, or do you just need a conditional format for all circumstances

Thanks. I wasn't sure how to enter the vba code. Sorted it out now. The original post has been updated. Yes, vba would be nice. My understanding is that vba is the only solution for conditional font type based on cell contents.

Conditional formatting will change the font of a cell if a condition is met, such as the value of specific cells being TA or containing TA

However in the code it only want to do this if the cell values have changed, is there a reason for this, circumstance?
