I'm trying to write a formula in a formatted table that can take a value in an adjacent column, current row, let's say [@Total Sales], and subtracts the value of the previous row in the 'Total Sales' column.
In this example, the result would give you the difference in Total Sales for that period vs the prior. I know I can do this by simply referencing the cell in the prior row, but I'd prefer to only have named references if possible.
For instance (but I know this isn't the case): [@Total Sale],Offset[-1]
Does this make sense?
Can it be done?
