Help! Calculating Threads Constantly - tried the usual suggestions

Dear reader,

I am currently having issues with a large file I use on a monthly basis. This file is around 12,000KB in size and has quite a few formula.

The issue: every time I make any changes to any cell, my excel starts calculating threads. Any formula in the sheet are then updated.

If I am working in another workbook at the same time that this large file is open, it will pause anytime I am changing anything and start calculating threads.

I have autosave turned off (files are saved in OneDrive) and calculations turned to manual. I have removed worksheets from the file to make it smaller but this has not helped (used to be 16,000 KB).

I do not have this issue with any other file. Only this one. It makes tasks significantly longer to complete.

Any suggestions would be most welcome as I have only seen advice to turn autosave off and calculations to manual which I have already been doing.
