    Post Function to calculate if device is under warranty

    Hi all,

    I need to calculate the warranty status of a device.
    The warranty is always 2 years from the production date of the device.

    Thanks for the help.

    In D2:

    =EDATE([@Manufactured],24)

    In E2:

    =IF(TODAY()>[@[Warranty date]],"Out of ","Under ")&"Warranty"

    Re: Function to calculate if device is under warranty

    Hello AliGW,

    What if I want to check if the device was under warranty on the day of the reception?

    Thank you

    Just tweak the column being looked at:

    =IF([@[Receival Date]]>[@[Warranty date]],"Out of ","Under ")&"Warranty"
