Question Can't get the IF function to work in financial calendar

I have a financial calendar that I am working on.

Ultimately I want the expenses listed on the day and then the sum at the bottom of each day. The fx I used for day 1 worked, but none of the rest will.

    =IF(Q11:Q17=1,R11:R45,"")

It's probably not hard, but I haven't worked with Excel in a bit.

Try using the VLOOKUP function instead.

I'm not super familiar with that one, and tried it, but I couldn't figure out where to put everything
