Question Conditional format if a different cell has strikethrough

I have a sheet that I'd like items to automatically apply strikethrough when I input "DONE" in the status column.
So far I've got the cell that actually says "DONE" to strikethrough, that is easy.

My problem is how to strikethrough the rest of the columns in that row when that cell says done.

I've had various success in the past but it seemed to take a new rule for each row (check cell to your right, is it "X", if so; format).

Is there a way to have a relative reference in the conditional formatting?
Essentially it would be something like this, but without having to make a new rule for every line:

Just apply the rule to the extra columns, but make sure you anchor the reference cell.

You could upload a sample workbook if you wanted more precise help.

Re: Conditional format if a different cell has strikethrough

    1. Change the strikethrough rule to a formula rule: =$C2="DONE".
    2. Apply it to; =$A$2:$C$8
