    Counting this years payments

    Hello,

I'm sure this is fairly easy, but I'm having a brain fart at the moment and can't get it to work. I need to use "SUMIFS" but I can't seem to get it to work. I want to sum the total of the payments made just in a particular year (2021 at the moment) in a range of numbers. I've attached a sample.

    Thanks!

    How about
    =SUMPRODUCT((YEAR(H4:H11)=2021)*(I4:I11))

    Easier with SUMPRODUCT:

    =SUMPRODUCT((YEAR($H$4:$H$11)=2021)*($I$4:$I$11))

    Re: Counting this years payments

You sure? Haha. I have for sure, but I think we might still have a work computer or two not updated. The laptop I use for programming narcotics lock boxes (on ambulances) uses Windows 7 still...

And thanks for the help. Turns out I did have my formula correct, but I was trying to sum some random text in one of the cells I was adding, I didn't realize it was there.

    Thanks!
