Evaluate Date Range for Last Date in Year, Semi-Annual, Quarter, and Year

I've looked for an answer to this on the Forum and elsewhere. Appreciate any help. I have a list of dates that spans multiple years. I need to evaluate the dates to determine if they are the final Year, Semi-Annual, Quarter, or Month date in the date range. (I am not looking for the last date in a given month...that I can figure out.)

For example, date as listed below

1/15/2018 <-- NOT the last day in Year, Semi-Annual, Quarter, or Month
1/30/2018 <-- Last day in Month
3/15/2018 <-- Last day in Quarter and last day in Month
    5/30/2018 <--Last Day in Month
6/15/2018 <--Last Day in Semi-Annual, Quarter AND Month
    8/15/2018 <--Last Day in Month
9/30/2018 <--Last Day in Quarter and Month
    10/15/2018 <--Last Day in Month
12/3/2018 <--NOT the last day in a Year, Semi-Annual, Quarter or Month
12/15/2018 <--Last Day in Year, Semi-Annual, Quarter AND Month

See a broader example in attached.

    In D2

    =IF(MOD(MONTH($A2),3)=0,IF($A2=EOMONTH($A2,0),D$1,""),"")
