Check if a weekly time interval falls within one of several weekly time intervals in table

    Hi,

I am trying to check whether a weekly time interval, defined by a start day of the week and a time and an end day of the week and a time, falls within one of several weekly time intervals given in a table.

The start day is given in cell A2, along with the start time in B2.
The end day is given in cell C2, along with the end time in D2

The table containing the relevant intervals is given in cells A5:D16.

Please see attached workbook. Does somebody know how to check the given time interval across the table?

Day from Time from Day to Time to
    Wednesday 04:30:00 Wednesday 05:00:00

Day from Time from Day to Time to
    Monday 00:00:00 Monday 07:00:00
    Monday 23:00:00 Tuesday 00:00:00
    Tuesday 00:00:00 Tuesday 07:00:00
    Tuesday 23:00:00 Wednesday 00:00:00
    Wednesday 00:00:00 Wednesday 07:00:00
    Wednesday 23:00:00 Thursday 00:00:00
    Thursday 00:00:00 Thursday 07:00:00
    Thursday 23:00:00 Friday 00:00:00
    Friday 00:00:00 Friday 07:00:00
    Friday 15:00:00 Saturday 00:00:00
    Saturday 00:00:00 Sunday 00:00:00
    Sunday 00:00:00 Monday 00:00:00

    Best regards,
    Marbleking

Re: Check if a weekly time interval falls within one of several weekly time intervals in t

Not seeing an indication as to the expected outcome, so I am assuming that it could be in the form of conditional formatting of the table.
    1. Select the range A5:D16
    2. Use the following formula as a conditional formatting rule: =AND($A$2=$A5,$C$2=$C5,$B$2>=$B5,$D$2<=$D5)
