Exclamation Linking tables cells in 2 different workbooks

    Hello,

I need to link cells from tables in 2 workbooks, so whenever a cell value is updated in the table in workbookA it should update in the table in workBookB and vice versa!

Well I linked them and they works perfectly in real time as long as they are both open, but when one is closed I have connection and link error!

I don't know if there is a way to this in different method then linking, maybe a formula maybe a vba it's too hard to figure out!

I attached the 2 workboooks here, hope someone has an idea

    Thanks in advance forall.

    Hi BassemCH

In doing some web searching it looks like Excel can read from closed files but can't write to them. I did see a suggestion that Access might be able to write to a closed file that was linked to it using VBA.

I'd be interested to know if you solve this. I'll keep watching..

I'm not actually looking to write in closed workbook, I just want to mirror the cells in both workbooks

    Hey BassemCH,

You say "mirror" and I thought you wanted to write to the closed file. Do you only want to read from the closed file? How do you see if it is mirrored in the open file? What does "mirror the cells" mean?
