    Conditional Formatting and IF Statements

    Hello,

    I need to put together a project plan and I have used a sample template. I am wanting to add some conditional formatting for the bars in the chart. I want to say if the 'end' date is today's date (and past today's date) and the '% done' is less than 100% then make the blue bars red in colour.

    I have gone into the conditional formatting and have got as far as adding a new rule 'use a formula to determine which cells to format' but I really haven't a clue what to do next.

    Attached Sample Sheet

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    Laura

    Follow the instructions in the yellow banner at the top of the page. If you're still having trouble, perhaps the file is too big and you'll need to pare it down a bit.

    Re: Conditional Formatting and IF Statements

    Try

    =AND($F10<=TODAY(),$G10<>1,J$6>=$E10,J$6<=$F10)

    Applies to:

    =$J$10:$BM$100
