Hi,
I have a list of months written in letters in a drop-down list. Let's say the list is in a cell A1. Now I would need to write a formula that would understood that for example January (selected from the drop-down list in A1) +1 would be February. Do you have any idea is it somehow possible to write this kind of formula in Excel?
I'm sure there's a better way but, in the meantime, try:

Note: the MATCH list has 12 entries, January to December, whereas the CHOOSE list has 13 entries, January to January to catch December returning 12. The first "January" entry needs to be there but it can be any value as it will never be picked.

One alternative is a simple lookup table ... January to December with matched entries February to January.
