I suggest uploading an example workbook (see yellow banner at top of page).
Sounds like a simple VLOOKUP (if the ID on the sheet is to the left of the items to return) or INDEX/MATCH depending on how your table is setup and how complex it is.

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

I had tried multiple LOOKUP formulas before but struggled with them. After your suggestion I tried VLOOKUP again and after tinkering with it I was able to solve my issue.
