Allocating stock to racking bays.

Good morning, I need some help with a warehouse formula. I need to allocate stock to rackings in a warehouse. Stock is various sizes, qty and dimensions (all these are known). Rackings are organised in various bays, levels, area and cubic capacity, but the are limited, as in I have a set nr of locations where to put stock. Challenge is finding a formula that allocates the right product to the right location, within the limitation of space available. Can’t get around my head on how to do that in excel... thanks anyone for any tip
