autofill column values based on values at regular intervals

Hello,Can anybody help me. I am looking for a quick solution to autofill a database which is in the format below. The colored fields should get the same value as the top cell, so the yellow cells should always have circus in column A and ronny in column B. And so on for the other colors. The number of blanks is always the same and it's a large database, so dragging down is not an immediate option.Thanks!!!!

How do know contents for each block? number of rows per block?

In the column A i have names. In column C i have all dates of february. For each name there is a value per date. But only in cell A1 the value of the name is mentionned. Then all cells in column A are blanks until the new name appears and the dates of february restart.
I want to fill up the blanks with the corresponding names. basically to complete it as a database to be able to perform functions and pivots

Select columns A & B then F5, Special, select blanks, OK, then type = followed by the up arrow & finally Ctrl Enter.
