You have been warned once before about thread titles.
Hi. Forum Rule 1 is very short. It states: "Title must briefly summarize your request."
A GOOD thread title is the sort of thing you would use as a search term on Google*. Your chosen title would produce a squillion useless hits. In future, please take a bit more time to think of a descriptive title that would be "Google-friendly". Many people search the forum answers looking for help and your very general title wouldn't help them at all.
NO HELP to be offered until thread title is changed.
*Other search engines are available!!!
Regards,
Glenn.

Hi
where do you add more data?
Did you notice that your "Total" range reaches only until row 44? (=Sheet1!$B$3:$B$44)
Do you try to add rows after line 44?
Hello Belinda
I add more scores in the weeks column up to yet there is only two weeks played but there will be 8 weeks when it completed. and Column \N adds the top six weeks, and Column P sums the top 15 scores overall
there wont be anymore rows added
Kind regards John

No problem. Thanks!!
OK and which column does not sum up correctly?
Column P should show the top 15 in a league table, but as I add more weeks score it does not
You mean the names returned in R are incorrect?
Can you upload a sample where you add new scores and the formula goes wrong?
Did you notice that the named returned in column R do not tie to the score? (only until "25" from thee top)
Hello Belinda
In Row B3 ( D Frith ) I have added more weeks score. but in the top 15 Players column his score dont go past 30
Hopes this helps a little
It is because the Named range "total" points to sheet 1.
If it read =Sheet2!$L$3:$L$37
it would be OK. I should have asked you earlier WHY there were two seemingly identical sheets. Now I know why... to cause problems!!!!
Thanks Glenn.
Sorry I forgot about that second sheet,
Do you think if I deleted the second sheet it would be ok
Regards John
Because your calculated range is column "L" ("Total")
try this:
=IF(ROWS($1:1) <=15,LARGE($N$3:$N$42,ROWS($1:1)),"")
As for the names - you can use this (without a helper):
=INDEX($B$1:$B$42,AGGREGATE(14,6,(ROW($N$3:$N$42)*($N$3:$N$42=$P3)),COUNTIF($P$1:P3,P3)))
Well, I just deleted one of them and fixed the 2 named ranges.... It looks OK to me...
You're welcome.
It would be very nice if you were to just click the Add Reputation button at the foot of any of the posts of members who helped you reach a solution.
Finally, if that takes care of your original question, please select "Thread Tools" from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED.
Thanks so much
