Multiple replace function

So I built this function in sql but I'd like to perform it in the excel spreadsheet. It replaces all the "s with "in" if it follows a number or a blank if it follows a letter. How can I perform this function in excel. Mind you I have around 216000 records to do this in. Multiple times a month. such as finish screw 3" is finish screw 3in. And Label "stop" is label stop.

Can you upload a workbook which contains 4 or 5 lines of sample text to be converted?
