    Finding multiple measurements in a line

    Hi

    I am trying to get a formula for the distance from one object to another object in a row.

    Eaxmple
    The row is 2100 inches long
    First I need to put on both sides at 32 inches for my fixtures. Then I need to add 7 fixtures equally between the two fixtures.

    (2100-2*32)/(7+1)?

    There is 7 Fixtures between the two 32 inch fixtures.

    There is a space between the last of the seven and the 9th lamp which is 32" from the end. So you need eight equal spaces.
