Find percentage of a value compared to another value in Excel .

Hi guys this is an extreme noob question, so i have two cells each cell contains a volume value and i want to see how much a volume represents in comparison of the other one in percentage, for example we have volume 1 and volume 2 i want to find how much valume 2 represents compared to volume 1 in percentages and the result should be like volume 2 is representing 60% of volume 1, like if we took volume 2 and put it inside volume 1 it will fill up 60% of the volume 1, i hope i made sense, i tried using this formula but im not sure it's correct (=(A3-A2)/A2 )

You simply need. =A3/A2 if A3 is 60 and A2 = 100 then you get 60/100 which comes down to 60%
