Highest to 6 scores from 8 weeks

Hello on my spreadsheet I have a list of players and have got the players score
But in the HIGHEST TOP 6 SCORES, I want the top 8 players scores to provide a league table as in TOTAL OVERALL SCORE

Each player will play 8 weeks and the top 6 scores will count.

    Regards John

It's not entirely clear what you're expecting. It's always advisable to manually add the results you expect so that we can see the goal.

    Maybe in X4

and in Z4 copied down 8 rows

    Thanks Richard
    What I wanted was.
In Column N I have the top six scores and it highlights the top players in green. I want the top players to be in a league table with the highest one at the top. ( in the Players Score Highest top six scores column) at the moment it is in a league but it counts the overall score as in the previous column.
    Thanks so much John

I believe that's what my formulae give you. i.e. they return the 8 names you show in green in column N
    Did you try them?

    Hello Richard
I thought it was sorted but there is two C Micklefields in the league table and H De Veen scored 77 and is not on the table.
also is there a way of making the table 12 players instead of 8 please

It's not vital but I often prefer to use helper columns since it makes formulae more easily understood and simplifies things.
It's also much easier to develop. I often end up with three or four helper columns before perhaps combining them for the final answer.

If you prefer you could incorporate the AB4 formula in the Z4 formula
