Question Defining a Pivot Table column in a SUMIF formula

    Hi all

Is there a dynamic way to define a specific column of a PIVOT table in a SUMIF (or any) formula?
I know that to define a column in a regular table you can use something like Table1[Total] but can you do this for a Pivot Table?
At the moment I'm having to define the range in my SUMIF forumal by drag-selecting over the column of data on the Pivot Table (and setting the range to absolute so that I can quickfill multiple formula lines). This is not ideal as I'd like to be able to update the master dataset which could change the pivot table, and would then throw out the formulas.

I have attached an example of the data I'm working with... The SUMIF formula is on Sheet3.

    Many thanks.

maybe choosing the whole column solves it. Try this formula

    Formula: copy to clipboard
