Hi,
The background to my problem is that this particular business was shut down for specific dates based on product availability, however each specific site or facility shut down on different days. The result was that we had to move around deliveries and thereby cause travel time to increase which in turn affects our inventory levels.
As mentioned in the title of this thread, I've attempted to come up with a way to reference the separate set of dates each facility was shutdown for... I first entered them all on the same tab, but I couldn't think of a way to use INDEX / MATCH in conjuction with CONCATENATE to specifically refer to each facility's down date in the calculations for NETWORKDAYS.INTL, which is done in COLUMN E. I've tried to use a combination of characters or cells to combine text in some way to force reference a different tab, but I always either encounter an error or sometimes just being prompted in a window to select a file.
Anyone have a way to obtain the result I'm looking for here? I've attached an example spreadsheet to help. EDIT: Looks like I didn't name the tabs properly in my revised file. Please pretend "Facility 1" is actually "F1"... I still encountered the same problem as noted above when attempting to manually combine text (e.g., "'"&A2&" Shutdown!"). Thanks much!
