Need help with formel that stop after example 60000

Hi, we are working with a formel that can only work from

Example: B11 to C11 . example between 50.000 and 60.000,- and stop after 60.000.

today we have put it in like this: (=C11-B17), the problem here is that if C11 is larger than 60.000, it still keeping counting ower that, i like it to stop working after 60.000,-


Can someone help me here?

You probably need to replace the comma with semi colons

you ask to stop working if value > 60000

Just a thought, but maybe you are looking for

=MIN(60000,C11)-B17

I shal try to explain.

This is a salery (paycheck).

So if you have taken in example 85.000,- in 1 mount, then this we whil put in collone C11.

Firts rate are starting between 54000 and 64000 = 10000 (colone D17) you sholuld have 10% of = Collone G17
Rate 2 is starting between 64000 to 74000=10000 (collone D18) you sholuld have 11% of = Collone D18
Rate 3 is starting between 74000 to 84000= 10000 (collone D19) you should have 12%= Collone D19
Rate 4 is starting between 84000 to 94000= 1000 (collone D20) you sholuld have 13%= Collone D20
.....
....
But the problem is that Colone D17 shal stop counting after 64000, but still counting on rate 2, and Colone D18 shal stop counting after 74000, and till counting on rate 3 And colone D19 shal stop counting after 84000, but still counting on rate 4......

Please give sample results and explain how they are derived.

If income is 70000 then is the result simply 70000*11%:if so you should be able to modify the formulae for this situation

No it is working if the C11 is from 64000, the proplem are now if the C11 is smaler the 64000.
Example 63000, then the D17 shal be 9000, if the C11 is 56000, then the F17 shal be 2000. If the C11 is smaler than 54000, the D11 shal be 0,-

If the result is under 54000, then the result is 0,-
If the result is between 54000 and 64000, then you gote the first rate 10% example if your result is 63000, the you should have 10% of 9000,-, but if your result is 100.000, the you sholud have
54000 - 64000, that is 10.000,- you get 10% of this
64000 - 74000, that is 10.000,- you get 11% of this
74000 - 84000, that is 10.000,- you get 12% of this
84000 - 94000, that is 10.000,- you get 13% of this
94000 104000,- that is 6000,- you get 14% of this

The problem is now D17, if you have 60000, then your code sholud have 60000 - 54000= 6000*10%= 600,-
