How to center images vertically in a cell?

I've had to revamp the calendar we use for our staff schedule, and it's bugging me that some of the pictures aren't centered vertically in the cells. It took me a long time to manually center them the first time around, and many of them were still noticeably imperfect. I've attached a sample calendar. Is there a way to center the image just vertically (obviously not horizontally in this case) and to vertically center multiple images in the same cell? I wasn't sure if this question should be posted here or in the VBA/macros forum; I'm really hoping it can be answered here, since I have zero experience with VBA or macros!
