    Question SUMIF based on a YES or NO -- Confusion

    Howdy,

    I am sure I have this wrong.

    I have a dropdown box in AG87 with Yes or No

    If I select Yes, I need +30 added to AC9.

    AG87 = Yes or No (Dropdown)
    AC9 = The initial No# (3926)
    AI87 = The Result (Eg: if Yes +30 to AC9 (3926) = 3956, if No = AC9 (3626)

    I have been trying this formula: =SUMIF(AG87,"(AG87=”Yes”,+30,IF(AG87=”No”,0)+AC9)",AC9)

    Which again, I am 1000% sure is wrong to some level.

    If someone could help and explain that would be wonderful and amazing...

    Thank you for your help,

    If AI87 holds the result,

    AI87:
    =AC9+IF(AG87="Yes",30,0)

    If AG87 could be blank in addition to being Yes or No, do you want AI87 showing the same value for AG87 blank or No?

    Ideally, the bare minimum, if Blank or No the result must be whatever is in AC9. Only add +30 if Yes is present in AG87.
    Thank you,

    That's what his formula does. It sounds like this is solved, no?
