Red face Data from one tab to another based on date

    Hello,

I have a project tracker with an actions log in one tab and I want a second tab that only shows todays actions.

Essentially I have loads of data in one tab that needs to be filtered by date in the second tab so I can see the actions quickly that I need to complete for that day only.

I hope this makes sense and if anyone can help me please?

    Thanks,

    Please post a sample file:

Click "Reply" then "Go advanced" then "Manage Attachments".

At top right "Choose File" then "Upload" (after selection) then "Close this window"

    Show expected results.

Re: Data from one tab to another based on date

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the reply!

I want all the data that is showing under todays date in the "Action Tracker" tab to show in the "To Do Today" tab.

I've used the TODAY formula in the "To Do Today" tab in A1.

It will be for a lot larger amount of data so I need something that is automatic rather than filtering the "start date" column in "Action Tracker".

If you need more clarity, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    p.s hope the attachment works
