Smile How to extract data from one worksheet into another

My objective is to pull the data from the STATUS column in Worksheet 2, as per the pic below...

    Pic 1.JPG

And to have that data shown in the VERIFICATION cells of Worksheet 1 (shown in green), by matching against the corresponding email address. So for example, in the case of DAVE JONES, I would want the VERIFICATION column of Worksheet 1 to display 'Invalid'.

To be honest im at a loss as to which function to even begin with so would appreciate help on which function to use and the function calculation itself to get me started. Many thanks in advance.

You have posted in the Outlook section - was this a mistake? I can move the thread if needs be.

    Done.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

    In WS1, H2, copied down:

    =IFERROR(VLOOKUP(E3,'Worksheet 2'!B:C,2,FALSE),"")

Re: How to extract data from one worksheet into another

Glenn thanks for the reply - I've put this into my data and what i didnt appreciate was that Worksheet 1 and Worksheet 2 are ordered differently and have different quantities of email addresses. I.e. there is no way to put them in a comparable order.

Is there a way to address this and for say excel to look at all the email addresses and appropriate them into Worksheet 1?

    Thanks

Show me in a new sample exactly where/how it DOES NOT work.
