COUNTIF while distinguishing 1.20 and 1.2

Hi

There is the range which contains both text of 1.2 and 1.20
If I COUNTIF with criteria "1.2", it returns the number of cells which contains both 1.2 and 1.20

I'd like to see only the number of cells whose value is 1.2

*Inserting any columns is not preferred

1.2 and 1.20 are merely visual representations of the same value, so Excel will see them as the same, because they are. The only way you will be able to distinguish them is if you make the entries into text by preceding them with an apostrophe.

Then it can’t be done - sorry. They are the same value.
