Post Power Query Refresh & SUMIFS

    Hi guys,

New to this forum but moderate/advanced Excel knowledge, (Little VBA however).

I am struggling with something which might be incredibly easy.

I have source data from my SQL, through Power Query and i have added columns on to the generated table to include a SUMIFS which calculates Sales Figures based on 3 different criteria's.

However, when i click Refresh it REF's the field which was allocated in the table.
See below formula before and after

    Welcome to the forum.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

    Post the workbook as requested.

Your formula (do you mean M Code?) is probably triggering a security measure.

Is there a reason you can't do the calculations in PQ (or even in the SQL query)?

Re: Power Query Refresh & SUMIFS

Basically, the PQ pulls Account names and Account numbers and then i pull Sales Figures from a different database.
After getting the data, i then need to populate my table by Order Type & date range. I can pull the data from the SQL but to then filter it down into the required fields it isnt able to do it.

Re: Power Query Refresh & SUMIFS

    Should be attached?

    Hope that helps...

I cant display the PQ on here as it wont be linked to the SQL but when i hit refresh to update the account numbers/names. it then ruins the SUMIFS in the other columns.
