tally up the numbers each individual has accepted or declined, month by month

    Hi,

Attached is my data set, I'd like to tally up the numbers each individual has accepted or declined, month by month.

Id also like to set prompts when they accept a more than say 6 shifts within a month.

The data is being pulled from MS Forms and have created a flow into this spreadsheet table.

    Thanks,
    Reece

Firstly welcome. I do not think you will get an answer unless you attack the actual file or an example with the same problem, see the yellow banner at the top of this page.

It is also unclear what you want. is there only ever one person in g:j in a row? If so you create a column that puts all the names in once column =if(g2<>"",g2,if(h2<>"",h2,if(i2<>"",i2,j2)))
then the easiest if the names are to change is to do a pivot table on this column, accepted rejected, date (which can be grouped into months), with a count of ID as your value

    Administrative Note:

    Welcome to the forum.

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done. "VLOOKUP Help" tells us nothing, and in your ase, looks as if it's entirely the wrong function, anyway.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. As you are new, I have done it for you today.)

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.
