Open a web site by click an icon based on validate list

    Hi,
I try to open a web site by click a globe icon that has an address referred to cell that has the web address.
That web address will change if different web site name is selected from validation list. Click the icon, it will
    open that web site.

There is popup error. Please see attached. Maybe VBA?

    Thanks

    Assigning a link of

    =H8

to a shape will not cause that click to realize you are trying to refer to a URL in H8. It thinks you are trying to open a file called "=H8".

Attached is a VBA solution. H8 is no longer needed; the URL is in H7. In fact the VBA could do the work of the formula in H7, but I left it.

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. It works! I try to automatically open to predefined store web site after open
    Google Maps web site.

In B2, I enter this link but Google Maps indicates "Google Maps can't find.
    https://www.google.com/maps?q=&C9

One more I try was to enter the store address after Google Maps was opened. Then I copy the link, and replace in B2. This way works but
    if there is easy way.

This latest problem is not an Excel problem but a problem with how you are using Google maps. I can't help with that.

?q=&C4 came from Youtube video on a cell linked to Google Maps. I append this code after the google map
but not it is working. I can use other method as I mention above.
