Determin total hours between two times

I am looking to create a calculation that tells me the total hours between a start time and an end time.

Example: 2:00PM and 1:00Am = 11

I have built a calculation that does this easily if the first time is either AM or PM, and the second time is PM. But it breaks when the second number is AM

What change do I need to make to ensure it can calculate total hours even when the second number is in the AM?

Assuming "start" is in col-B and "End" is in col-C then in D2 copied down:
