Compare missing data not in same row/column

I am trying to find a formula that can compare spread sheets. That have the simular data, out of order and then highlight the missing data on the spreadsheet.

I can highlight them if in the same column but not if out of possition

=A1<>sheet2!A1

is what i have done but it doesn;t take into account if the date is in a different location

i hope it all make sense
