Comparing two column to calculate overdue

    Good morning All,

I'm fairly new to excel formulas, so I'll try to explain what I'm try to accomplish. My plan is to show the total number of shipments, along with the s, p, e, overdue and upcoming.

The overdue is what is confusing me. Column F (date Planned) is the planned date of the shipments. I'm trying to add a formula in G19 that will show overdue if column G's date is greater than column F; but I would also like to know if column G is blank is it <>today (if column f's date is less than a blank column g using today's date it's overdue). This is confusing and I apologize if this is hard to read/understand.

I really like this forum and appreciate the help that is provided. Great site!!!
