    Index/Match Difficulties

    Hello!

I'm having some difficulties with using index/match to solve this problem. On my sample workbook - I need to retrieve the summed values for each month (in the raw data - tab 2) and enter them into my first tab under the appropriate date. I'm using the dates and/or the unique identifier in order to match these. Would anyone be able to assist?

    Re: Index/Match Difficulties

You can use this formula in cell C2 of Sheet1:

    =SUMIFS(Table2[Amount],Table2[Customer Name],$B2,Table2[Invoice Date],C$1)

then copy across and down as required.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
