Copy & paste formula without changing the original range selection

I have a column with the sales each keyword generated and I want to see the percentage of the total sales for each KW.

    I'm using the formula =Y2/SUBTOTAL(9,Y2:Y6)
This works fine for the first row but when I paste the formula to the next row, it changes the range to start from the second row instead of the entire sales column.
    =Y3/SUBTOTAL(9,Y3:Y7)

How can I get it to only chain the "Y2" TO "Y3" but keep the selected range "Y2:Y6"

    TIA!

Re: Copy & paste formula without changing the original range selection

    Try

    =Y2/SUBTOTAL(9,$Y$2:$Y$6)

$ makes the ranges ABSOLUTE i.e. fixed
If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED.

In my actual workbook, the range is much bigger. How would I make this range absolute?
    =Z10243/SUBTOTAL(9,Z10243:Z141840)

As per the example: add the $ into the formula

    This doesn't work:

    =Z10243/SUBTOTAL(9,$Z$1$0$2$4$3:$Z$1$4$1$8$4$0)
