    Sum based on filtered dataset

    Hi.
On the attached screenshot from an Excel sheet, you will see that I have two totals at K2 and L2. These totals are for the full column. What I would like to do is to be able to see the totals if I have for example filtered the worksheet based on Category. Is this possible please and if so, could someone point m e in the right direction. Many thanks

    Alex

    Hello!
    Maybe SUMIF will do it.
Otherwise, please follow instructions on yellow banner above to provide a sample workbook.
