The first argument to INDEX is the range you want to look in, so:

    =INDEX('TAB2'!$K$16:$K$5000,MATCH(A6,'TAB2'!$D$16:$D$5000,0))

I assumed you wanted an exact match, so I added the ,0 to the MATCH function.

    Isn't it

    =INDEX($k$16:$k$5000,MATCH(A6,'TAB2'!$A$16:$A$5000,0))

    Do you mean this?

    =INDEX('TAB2'!$K$16:$K$5000,MATCH(A6,'TAB2'!$D$16:$D$5000,0))

You really need to get your head around INDEX MATCH syntax. Have a look here: https://exceljet.net/index-and-match
