Data Split - Blank lines issue

    Hi,

I have a sheet of Data, that I am splitting into two sheets based on the contents of one cell in the row.
This I have achieved, but I need to find a way to ignore the blank lines, so each sheet has only the data rows, without the blanks..
I am sure there is a way to do this, but I can't seem to find it..

    Administrative Note:

Members will tailor the solutions they offer to the version of Office (Excel) that you have. Please check that your forum profile is up-to-date in this respect. If you aren't sure, in Excel go to File | Account and report what it says below the MS logo at the top of that page. If your version is for Mac, please also state this. Thanks.

Re: Data Split - Blank lines issue

    Hi Trevor,
Thanks for the Formula. It works great on the Sample data set I sent.
For a larger set, I altered the row and column numbers to match the larger set, and it works great.
The issue that remains is that the data set varies in size on different days.
Is there a way for the Scope of the formula to expand to accommodate the varying number of rows in the data without manually changing the scope?
I tried putting a large number for the end of the array, but it just returned an error.

This isn't yet fully resolved. See post #5:

    This worked for me:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.
but, ideally, you should create Dynamic Named Ranges, one for the entire data area, and one for just column K, both based on the number of rows in, say, column K.

    Hi TMS

    Thanks! That works.
I had a couple of old formulas sat in a cell further down the page, which were causing the error!
    All Fixed now.

    Many thanks for your help
