Dynamic sort function for data entries

Hi all

I am collating individual tabs for my team (names are fictional for data purposes)

On the tab: Team Samuel

can anyone guide or advise how I can sort my sheet specifically by A-Z order whereby the spreadsheet can update automatically whnever data (someone types there name) in column A? So basically the sheet should sort in A-Z name order and the corresponding cells in that row will be adjusted accordingly

I was research the unique sort by function but don't think this does what I want it to. thank you all

Hi there,

You could use a worksheet change event, limited to changes in column A.
You would need to enter the code on each worksheet where you need the sorting to happen.
> Right-click on the sheet name/tab (ie; Team Samuel), select 'View Code', enter/paste the code below.
