my filler handle is not working properly.

I am using office 2019. Recently, my filler handle is not working properly. If I want to cross out a date it fills in a different date. Months for example he repeats the previous filled in months but not in the order as it should be.
Is there anyone who knows a solution for this. I use the fill handle very much and is so annoying that this is now so.

difficult to say without seeing the data. As you are mentioning dates, perhaps your dates are text looking like dates ( left aligned in the cell ) instead of real dates?
Perhaps post a sample sheet ( see yellow banner for how-to)
