Job and Checkers Count

Hi,

I have a table that lists out the people who do a job and the people who check the said job.

I want to create a formula where I can scan the table and count how many a said individual "does the job" and how many "check the job" in order to create an equal distribution of "does the job" and "checks the job".

I've tried using the

but I don't know how to skip over rows.

I've attached my excel with the desired result in green.

Any direction would be great and helpful.

I think you misunderstood me, suppose I don't have the cells that say "Does the Job" or "Checks the Job".
