making a schedule for Part time Employees

I am trying to write a formula to check the day of the week and keep track of my part time employees shifts. I have two part time shifts, Monday to Wednesday, and Wednesday to Friday. I have a cell to have both the daily date and a cell to have the Day of the week. I also cave rows with checkboxes to determine if an employee is on a Mon-Wed shift, a Wed-Fri shift, or if they are Full time. I just want a cell for easy view to help me to check to see if they are supposed to be on the schedule for the day. That way I know if I need to call or write up an employee without wasting too much time. I was trying to use an "If then" formula, is that the best way, and can you help me?

This is the formula that I am using:
    =IF(I2="2"OR("3"OR("4"AND(C2:C41=true,"yes"))))

Cell "I2" is what states if it is a Monday or other day of the week. and the "C" column is the Mon-Wed Shift check box.
I have hidden cells with employees info.

Thanks for the formula, unfortunately it did not function properly with the check boxes.

Not always is a checkbox linked to the cell they are in.
Please right click on a checkbox and select Format..., then find out what cell it is linked to and amend that argument in the formula.
If that does not work, please follow instructions on yellow banner above to upload a sample workbook.

Oh, I see what the problem is.
The text TRUE must go with no quotation marks. Sorry about that.

    Please try:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

And you can replace TODAY() in the formula with $H$2, so you can play with other dates and see the outcome.
